Joy Morrissey, MP Member of Parliament for Beaconsfield United Kingdom gets felicitated withHonour of Nobles of Commonwealth Nations Award of WBR – IUDEX

Nobles of Commonwealth Nations Awards are bestowed to personalities for matchless contribution in fields of politics, finance, science, technology, environment, media and humanities.
London: Hon’ble Joy Morrissey, MP Member of Parliament for Beaconsfield, United Kingdom was felicitated with an honour of Nobles of Commonwealth Nations Award for matchless contribution in promoting democratic values and national integrity for betterment of society. She was bestowed with a certificate and London Press Trophy by Senior Labour Party Leader and five times British MP Virendra Sharma, Santosh Shukla, President & CEO, World Book of Records, HH Rajrajeshwar Guru Ji, Mahendrasinh Jadeja “Dada” at British Parliament, England along with intellectuals of society. Significantly, she was born in Indiana, in the United States. She attended Worthington Christian High School in Ohio and graduated in 1999. Morrissey received a master’s degree specialising in European Social Policy from the London School of Economics. After completing her postgraduate studies, Morrissey attained British citizenship and is now a British-American dual national. In 2019, Morrissey was selected as the new Conservative candidate for Beaconsfield. At the 12 December election Morrissey defeated former Conservative Dominic Grieve, who had represented Beaconsfield since 1997 and contested the seat as an independent. Upon election she became the third ever American-born female MP, after The Viscountess Astor and Beatrice Rathbone.


The award ceremony felicitated 60 personalities with international awards, Nobles of Commonwealth Nations Award and World Book of Records for their outstanding contribution to society. In the ceremony, the British Magazine London Press was released in the gracious presence of hon’ble guests. It was announced that the next World Book of Records program will be held again in the British Parliament in September, promising another round of celebration and acknowledgment for social work heroes worldwide. The ceremony was vibrant. The vote of thanks was given by Corina Sujdea from Romania.
