Bangalore : On 3 June 2024, Presidency University made history by hosting the World’s Largest Innovation Expo, featuring 900 engineering projects presented by over 5,000 freshmen and sophomores. This groundbreaking event has officially entered the World Book of Records, marking a significant achievement for the university and its students. Under the leadership of Chancellor Dr. Nissar Ahmed and Head of Innovative Projects Dr. M. S. Divya Rani, the expo showcased an array of innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges. Projects spanned various fields, including renewable energy, smart technology, and sustainable engineering practices, highlighting the creativity and technical skills of the young engineers. The expo attracted industry leaders, educators, and prospective students, fostering collaboration and inspiration among participants. Dr. Ahmed expressed pride in the students’ achievements, stating, “This event not only highlights the ingenuity of our students but also emphasizes our commitment to nurturing innovation and excellence in engineering education.
